That was a fun game to watch (feels weird saying that about any game involving the Preds). Fast paced start to finish.

I think losing to team that plays that way is easier to stomach because its more entertaining. When it was that frustrating trap style it was just annoying.

Central division is hell.

If the Preds keep up the solid play they'll be taking Colorado's spot in the playoffs (maybe not 1st like the Av's were, Nashville will be in, Colorado out is what i mean).

Fun game to watch. Preds are looking scary with that improved offense. That Forsberg is nasty.

I've never heard of Severson so I'd say Ellis is better than him haha

The special teams still look shaky for the Preds - although you gotta give them credit for toughing out 2 solid minutes in the zone against the Hawks powerplay last night. They did manage to maintain possession in the zone on the power play for 45-50 seconds at one point last night, so that's something. But they are not generating many good chances.

Either way - the Preds are playing some great hockey. That's a big boy opponent that they just took 3 of 4 points from in the last 5 days. And I'll say this, Anti Raata played a pretty good game. Sure he gave up the hatty to Neal, but the Preds could've scored 3 more goals in the first period if he didn't stand on his head.

The refreshing part of all this is having a legitimate 1st line. I like the "NeRF" line as a nickname. The first line has 9 goals & 9 assists in 7 games. And the 4th line is playing well too. Gaustad & Nystrom are scoring a little, but doing what they need (and you can plug & play Borque, Stalberg or Clune in there with them & be okay).

Lots of peopl are wondering "where do Fisher & Cullen fit when they come back?". I think you can see the 3rd liners struggling to get on the score sheet. And you have your answer. Beck looked pretty good there last night. And they are playing hard & creating some jump. But perhaps getting Fish or Cullen in there will make them stronger.

Nice to see Forsberg and Neal getting it going in Smashville. Its going to be interesting to see what happens when Fisher and Cullen are healthy.

My son and I went to watch them at training camp and
Pekka loooooked sharp. Is anybody seeing the same thing I am
as far as he looks leaner but I have seen him in person and there
is no way that he can get any leaner I wonder if he changed his
pads in any way.

It's ok, I never heard of him before this year. Seen him get 2 goals in one game, looked him up and he was a D so i figured i'd pick him up. Hopefully he can keep it up

Rookie D-men always crash and burn at about 30 games when the grind sets in.
